I've been searching everywhere for decals that go on the fan shroud for my 92 Bird. There are 3 and I need 2, the accessory drive belt routing one and the supplemental inflatable restraint one. If anyone knows a place that stocks or makes them please let me know. Thanks!

 

Try a local GM Dealer,I was at one yesterday for labels and the parts guy told me that the only labels available were the fan shroud ones.I don't know what ones of the shroud tho.

 

Google the verbage and/or description of the decals. I found a fan warning sticker at a Corvette restoration site (sorry - at work, don't have URL). Sometimes the decals are shared across product lines.

Thanks for the info, I talked to a company in GA that said they made most of the graphics for Phoenix and they didn't have them. From your link it shows Phoenix has them. I'll give them a call. Thanks again!

 

If they have them, great. Don't know if this will help, but here is a pic for the original placement of them. If they don't have them, take pictures of some original ones and take them to a print shop and have them reproduced if nothing else.

That's the plan if Phoenix Graphics doesn't have them. I have the old shroud with decals that I can take to a print shop. Thanks for the help.

 

Got a call from Phoenix Graphics today and the tech decals are a no go!!!Sorry.

I brought this up to them when they didn't have a very common decal for my car.

 

Yep they say that but don't carry what they advertise. I went to a graphics place today, they can't get a good enough picture off of my old shroud to be able to scan and print. Searching still then.

I see some in the Classic catalog but I don't think their the ones your looking for.

 

Just called Classic a bit ago also F Body Warehouse, no luck. I'll find them it's just a matter of...........time!

 

I can't promise anything, but mine are in great shape, so I'll try and get a good his-res pic of each. If it works, I'll PM ya and email them to you. I was a printer for 30 years, so I'll know what will work or won't.....lol

 

Why not try a junk yard to see if they have that shroud. If so, it may contain the decals you may want and just swap the shrouds.

 

I thought of that but finding a 91 or 92 Bird in a junk yard is hard to come by or far away.

I talked to them and a dealership has to order them but I have a buddy (a member on this site also) that works in the body shop of one so I'm sure he could get them ordered for me.

 

Sorry, tried, but none were good enough for reproduction. Even taking one straight down it still had an angled effect, plus shows the imperfections my has from slight aging. Keep looking for a near mint shroud I guess......sorry. Also, check around, I know many parts are 91-92 specific, but are the shrouds?

 

Thanks a lot for trying to get the pics. I'm thinking finding another shroud also is the best way to go. There's a place called Brock's in Columbia,SC that keeps a good many 3rd Gen Birds and Camaros that I've bought from I'll check out. Thanks again.
