Direct Port Injection

I am looking at the DPI on the 2014 ZL1 Camaro, and want to put it on the 366 that is in my 84 but unable to find anything on it but the fact that it comes on the '14 Camaro. Is their anyone that has looked into this and find a place that sells the kit for it including the heads to put them in.

Re: Direct Port Injection

Is your 366 a Gen I small block? Because the Gen I blocks and the LS blocks are different designs and I doubt any parts interchange. There's a conversion available for the ignition system and ecm but that's all I'm aware of.

it is a gen I and know the that is on a ls motor right now but was wondering if anyone has came out with any for older blocks yet as that i am about to put another 383 motor in that is the same 4 bolt main block as this one supercharged and right now going to stay carburetor but if they have the heads to use it, I will go that route but if not then not going to go injection anything as that do not need the hassle of wires added to the congestion if it not benefit.

Re: Direct Port Injection

Didnt know the '14's were direct port vs the older GEN IV LSA engine. AFAIK newer trucks and the C7 corvettes are the GEN V direct port engines

This block will let you use the LSx top end, but I dont see the benefit. Just buy the whole LSA engine
