2 Way Difff?!?!

Hey guys, well im building a full drift track car with my 86 Z28, I dont necessarily want to weld my diff to get it to slide them corners better. I cant find a 2 way differential / locker. If someone has a link or a brand name let me know!

Detroit trutrac or detroit locker. If you planning to use the stock 10 bolt or 9 bolt, forget it they wont last long

Re: 2 Way Difff?!?!

An ARB Air Locker would be nice. They are popular in the off-road world. Conventional differential, which can be 100% locked with air pressure.

Unfortunately, they're focus is off-roading, this no 7.6" application. But, if you were planning to build a stronger rear axle anyway, then one of these might be an option, depending on what axle you choose to build.

There are electric lockers in the production car world, but I'm not sure if they are in the aftermarket or not.

Wow these are a great price. It keeps the diff constantly locked?

I also found a guy with a locker for my car for the same price as one as those, might pick it up Monday

yes its always locked , if its a mini locker dont waste ur money it will break under the stresses of drifting.

with the minispool it will be hard on the axles during normal street driving , but they are so easy to install that u could drive to the drift event pop the rear cover off install the mini spool in about 30 mins. then after the event u can put the normal spider gears back in in the same amount of time

i had one in my v6 turbo car till i finally said hell with it and welded the open diff , car was a daily driver and id have to replace the axles every year to 2 years as id a;lways twist them up
