The hood assist cylinders were shot on my Formula, so in the interest of safety and convenience, I replaced them.
I shopped around a little and found 1A Auto to have the best price for the pair of cylinders.
The ordered cylinders came in 4 or so days, which was fine for me.
The parts themselves are well-made, and on this continent(Mexico) as well.
I watched 1A's Youtube install video and had at it.
The ends of the cylinders are pre-greased and snapped right on where the old cylinders once were.
My hood was once again counterbalanced and functions smoothly. 10 minutes time was all it took for the replacement.
I will look to 1A Auto for more replacement parts in the future.
