U can post something like this on the Tech/General Engine board. For $2,000 your not going to get a very good car. What kind of performance are u looking for?? Is there any particular style of Camaro u like more??

if you look around, you can find something that will at least get you home, and can be fixed up rather cheap to look good.

Then later on, throw in a 350, 383, or a 400 and "ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM".

For instance, I just found an 89 GTA that had 102K miles on it, had the 350 TPI, white with gold wheels for $900.

The interior was shot. Cut, stained, and stuff was broke, but it ran good.

I didn't buy it cause I didn't have the money to spare, but I wish I could've. Then I could have sold it to you for $1100.

Look on Auto Trader, or Trader Online, or even Ebay Motors.

Some wonderful car is waiting out there for a nice warm home.
