Can anyone tell me what the contents of this kit include? I am planning to purchase one online but there does not seem to be a desrciption of it's contents?

It contains the actual Accel 300+ Ignition box, a Accel HEI Supercoil, and the necessary wiring harnesses and connectors.

Thanks, I would venture to say then I should pick up the distributer cap, rotor, wires and plugs to go along with it seperately. I am planning on Accel for the cap, rotor and 8 mm wires and platnum tip plugs. Any advice?

I'd go with MSD or Taylor for the wires. Many people (myself included) are not too fond of Accel plug wires.
