too work on 305 or get a 350 sc?
hi right now i got an lg4 305 with a few mods. bt nothing major yet really. the only big mods r a edelbrock proformer intake and a nos set up but not installed. i was woundering. i can get a 350 with a supercharger and powerglide tranny and its all basiclly new. they guy hat will sell it too me for 3,000. and i was wounder should i go for that or work on the 305. becuz i know the guy really good, so like installin it wouldnt be a problem, i know he would help becuz he's said he could swap an engine and what not in like a day and a half. i just wanted to know before i blow my money on the 305, if i should go for this. and the 350 he had it in his old pro street nova and he said he ran 11's with that engine on street tires and if he put slicks he know he would have 10's. so like if anyone has any coments on if i should get the 350. i would like to get it but im not sure but im kinda leaning towards it.

i dont know.. to me this seems like a no brainer. one thing to think about though is
A) is this your daily driver
and if so
B) how far do you drive. extended mileage put on what sounds to be like a race motor will hurt your wallet bad.

well right now im thinkin of racing the car but i might just use it for a daily driver for maybe half of this yr and then get a beater car. so i dont put miles on the camaro. so like i know i would be gettin the motor till like summer time around there. but i think ill get this motor and plus i store the car for the winter so miles during then wont matter. so i think ill get this motor once i get the money. but do u think its a good idea to get it and a deal? and the engine comes with a powerglide tranny , i dunno if i said that before or not.

if its built right to withstand the rigors of whats being put throuhg it then i see no reason why it woudlnt be a good deal. and the powerglide tranny is just a plus if you were planning on racing it anyways.
maybe someone else will post their views on this....
