MAC headers, opinions?

I have a chance to pick up a set of MAC headers at dealer cost. In your opinion, what is the quality of these headers? They seem like they would be up there with edelbrock and SLP but I haven't heard anyone mention them. thanks

I have a buddy who has had MAC headers on his mustang for about 2years no problems. I also just bought a set with an offroad pipe and ganna put them on soon. And at dealer cost? why not.

Well it depends on what you are going to install the headers on. if you do not have an engine oil cooler i say go for it. if you do these headers will hit the lines and make you bypass the engine oil cooler. I assume they are going on a 3rd gen right. if they are going on a 99 get the mac headers they are great. I have a set of mac headers and an off road pipe on my car. With the flow master cat back my car sure runs alot better. in 3 days i went from a 15.7 (g-tech on test drive) to a 13.6(track week after purchase). It is amazing what a good exhaust, tuneing and a set of tires will get you.

they will going on a third gen (99 is my graduation year, I have been using tis for a while and never changed it). I don't plan on running an oil cooler. So it looks like they could be an option. Thanks.
