Drivetrain help needed!

i was going to put these parts on my 89 iroc z 305 tpi: (i listed the jegs part #'s under them)

TCI Break-a-way Converter
#890-242800
Richmond 3.73 Gear kit
#836-49-0046-1K
Aurburn differential 3.23 and up
#109-542040

will my converter work with everything? it said 84-91 TH-700R4 30-spline... and the auburn differential said 28 spline.

does this have anything to do with eachother?

and...ive heard richmond gears are known to whine, but how loud? i just dont want it to interfere with my exhaust note outside, and my stereo sound inside.

thanks!

The 30 spline is your trans input shaft and the 28 spline is axle splines. You shouldn't have any probs. Looks similar to my setup except I only have 26 spline axles. This would probably be the only thing to check, because different years had different spline counts, although it would be better to upgrade to more splines on the axle anyway.

89 and up have 28 spline axles, and about 80%of the time richmond gears are loud.

It wouldn't be too bad... My 4.10's are a little too steep, but it's nothing the radio cant cover.
