I thought VDO was a good company until lately. About two years ago I bought a tachometer from them and installed it in my camaro. Ever since I installed it, it never worked right. It would work every so often. to make a long story short, they aske me to send it in so they could look at it. I did. a couple weeks went by and I emailed them again. They somehow "lost" my tach and said they wer sending me a new one. So now here it is 7 months later, yes I said 7, and I am still without a tach. I email/call them once a week. All they say is "oh, it must have got lost in the mail" or "Its on back-order now, but your on the top of the list". I still do not have a tach and I am very pissed off at them.
So if you do buy a VDO guage, you better hope it works!!
