Summit and FedEx
Since when did Summit start shipping through FedEx? I hate FedEx! They have this unique ability to NOT deliver the parts I want. THey like to leave a note on the door telling me to come pick it up even if I left 'em a note to leave it in the door! Now, I didn't call SUmmit this time, but next time I do I plan to ask if they will ship UPS. If not, I dunno what I'll do. I do like Jegs, but they don't always have exactly what I want.

Oh yeah, and on the website they send you to UPS.com to figure out how long your package will take to get to you... and then they ship it FedEx!?!?!? WTF?

Last time I ordered from Summit it came fedex ground. Took 3 days to get from NV to AZ when its always 2 days by ups. So far I have not recieved any smashed packages from fedex, unlike ups who always smashes to them.

As soon as you get your shipping info, just call Fedex and give permission for them to leave at your door. I even had them leave it at the local private packaging/shipping store (they stop there everyday). I have Fedex toll free # on my speed dial at work for just that reason. Nothing like paying for overnight and getting only a note when you get home from work.
