I really dont see how alot of your problems happen...but if you say it does, then OK......

Everyone jumps on the bandwagon, because when someone posts that their experinece was crappy, and forty people are in the shadows in agreeance, they figure if they chime in, maybe they can stop the next poor bastard from losing his money.
And im also sorry if you dont "see how a lot of our problems could happen..." but they do. If you dont believe it thats your problem.

blah, blah, blah!!!!!!
I read you post and to tell you the truth its seems it was your choice to lose ALL your money...HELL! I would have rather taken a little loss than ALL of it.. but that was your choice.
I have delt with alot of dealers, NEW and USED and have never LOST all my money in the transacton...Ive lost some but the way I look at it is, hey you win some you lose some....but thats just me!
When I have a problem I stay with it until its resolved partly or fully.
All this on here is just one sided anyway... nobody knows ALL the truth behind any of these situtations....
I do know them, not personally but I have been by there numerous time to buy things and to hang out there and like I said they are always busy filling orders or tanking to people on the phone about orders or parts, not just seatng around ranting an raving about all the ripoff's you guys make it sound like...
All this customer service crap is BS! I think.... I just look at thing different than alot of you guys.
The customer is NOT always right...I have taken back many things to the store KNOWING I broke it or messed it up...and so has alot of US ...so dont preach that CS stuff...or going to court and pleading not guilty for a ticket, knowing we did it...
If THEY have a part and you NEED it or WANT it and CANT find it anwhere and you need it NOW and know EXACTLY what you are going to get, I bet your *** you'd buy it from them.
but we wouldnt know, cuase all you people saying you wouldnt surely wouldnt post on here.
So with all that said, I guess I do have a problem, cause I dont believe it.

Maybe i didnt clarify on my transactions, and why i chose to lose all my money. The bumper was 70 bucks, and it was 25 or 30 to ship it. He wasnt going to refund shipping, nor was he going to pay shipping back. So why would i blow ANOTHER 25 or 30 dollars, and end up only ten dollars ahead of where i was with the piece of **** in my living room??? I wasnt about to shell out MORE money and wait for them to send me a check back, lord knows they were slower than cold mollasses rolling uphill in february frost just EMAILING me, let alone sending me crap.
And i never said the Customer is always right. I bought a Discman from a store once, and wrecked the headphones. Said discman used very particular headphones. I told the salesman i needed another set, he asked me what happened, and said "maybe its covered under its warranty". And i told him, "its not, i stepped on them, LOL." I dont buy that crap about the customer always being right, BUT... Id LOVE to know how its my fault i was sent a product that WASNT WHAT I ORDERED, AND WAS OF A LOWER QUALITY THAN DESCRIBED, and how I WAS IN THE WRONG FOR WANTING MY MONEY BACK.
And FYI, when i go to court to plead not guilty, i never once even pretend i didnt do it. Its a racquet, and we all admit it. I go there with intent to PLEA BARGAIN, which (last time i checked) is admission of guilt to a lesser penalty. I dont know how Old Man Judge likes his paperwork filled out, and if they say check NG i do, but give it a rest. I deserved every ticket ive gotten, and ive never said otherwise.
If he DID have a part, and i NEEDED it, IMMEDIATELY, and NO ONE else had it, i would NOT order it. Do you know why?? Because whos to say im even gonna get the right friggin part? I'll probably get the same piece, off of a different car, and itll probably be broken.
Why order it? If theyre the only ones that have it, i mine as well consider myself screwed and walk where im going.
And i still dont understand why you think wed waste our own time lying here about bad transactions, cuz i can think of an infinite number of better ways to spend my time. Im also sorry you dont think people would mention all the GOOD transactions theyve had. Some people have, and if i had any i would. Do a search for IROCZDAVE. He always sends high quality ****, the EXACT parts ordered (or he emails), and im sure youll find that i give him much praise for his transactions with me (of whiceh tere have been THREE, all shipped entirely across the US, and all received FASTER than stuff from thirdgenresource).
Unfortunetely, it doesnt really matter what you believe. This is a forum, provided so that we may tell our fellow thirdgenners about our GOOD and BAD experineces. Im doing that, and for the 100 dollars im out, ill continue to tell folks about my lousy experinece whenever someone asks how "transactions with thirdgenresource have gone."
End of story.
Edit: Spelling....

But at the time, I didn't know it was the wrong flywheel, until after I got it cut and tried to install it. It wouldn't fit. About 3 weeks later I get a BORG WARNER clutch in the mail. So I call them to complain, but they weren't helpful at all. They wouldn't do anything about the end links, nor would they refund me the money I spent getting the WRONG flywheel cut, only the price of the flywheel itself. Nor would they refund me the $60 price difference between clutches. AND I have to pay for shipping to return the wrong, machined flywheel to get my money back in the form of a credit. THIRD GEN RESOURCES SUCKS!!!!

They don't run thier business like this....
Neil: "Bob, where is this bumper going?"
Bob: "I don't know. Just stick it in that large box over there that has an address label on it and tell UPS to pick it up in a couple of weeks".
......do they?
I have dealt with Third Gen in the past. I purchased a 9-bolt rear end and a dual fan set up. I did not have any problem with the transaction. But I did have a problem when I got there. Yes, I have been to visit their operation. At the time it was run from there home just outside of Raleigh, NC. They were pulling the rear out of the donor car as I pulled up and did not have the fans on site. We had to follow them to their storage shed to get the fans. After which, they left me hanging. I did not even get a chance to ask "what is the easiest way back to the interstate." I would have to say to everyone, BEWARE!! If you can go get your parts, he makes a lot less money that way.
He also knows Bruce the guy who runs Hawks, they use to run third gen resouce together. Keep that in mind.

I'm also having problems with them two weeks after ordering no shipment so I called them and no fog lamp assembly but they do have the hinge for the hatchback so I've ask them to substitute a driver side cupholder for the fog lamp. Another two weeks about to pass me by I'm not happy right now the dealer has discontinued the hinge for the hatchback I'll see if the dealer have the fog lamp assembly which might cost about a hundred bucks but at least I'll know about a week I'll have the part in my hands. I give Third Gen a call to cancel my order and look elsewhere my credit card has been charged since May 7 this is not very good businesslike behavior so therefore it sucks.

I finally got my parts from TGR but I'm still disappointed so I'll be very suspicious if I order again from them. Maybe I'll give Hawks a call cause I still need the fog lamp assembly for my firebird.
