comp, crane, jegs and summit
Well after getting one bad guy at comp, called crane and the tech guy was terrible, recommended a cam only by pn wouldnt give me the specs, when i finally did get teh specs out of him the cam was literally so close to stock it wouldnt have been worth the 400 bucks, so i got pissed, called comp got ahold of a guy spent almost 45 mins on the phone working out a combo, awesome to deal with, and my respect for comp cams has been regained after the first experiance,
Jegs didnt carry the cat i wanted so i picked up the cat and timing chain from summit and from jegs the valve covers, tbi spacer, cam, lifters and earlier in the month picked up the headers, d/s loop and tbi manifold through them, ordered this stuff monday night around 1130pm had the jegs box at my dads house sinc ei dont like parts sitting out sinc ei live on a corner next to a failry main road jegs showed up about 11am and summit at around 1pm thuirsday afternoon, great experiance with both as always, good packing, fast shipping, although i am sick of getting the free hats already, i've run out of people to give em too, they should change the hat style or throw some shirts or something in....so long story short
Crane cams- bad experiance
Comp cams - bad, but then great 2nd time
Summit- great as always
jegs- Fabulous
and also dealing with classic chambered.com in ordering one of they're power sticks, erik s at cc is a great guy to do business with, of course i havent recieved the muffler yet supposed to ship moday but so far so good

I have always had good service with jegs. I also had good service with the crane cams guys so im sorry you had a bad one. The guy was very knowledgeable and explained how the different functions are of the Z-Cam I eventually purchased from jegs. One bad thing I had from jegs was the Dynomax 2 1/4" header back system said originally NOT to use the dynomax shorties so I bought some flowtech's from CSK Auto. Turns out you MUST have the Dynomax shorites or your exhaust hangs way low. Well, I am pulling that b/c 2 1/4" exhaust w/ 1 1/2" primarys aint gonna keep up with a 450 hp 383
Jegs: Good
Summit : No Experience with slaes but getting a catalog took 4 months and a few phone calls
Crane: Good job, nice parts, good directions.

I have had good luck with Jegs too.
Only had one order go awry so far.
Summit... literally 3-4 weeks to get not only the correct sized S/S braid hose, but the correct fittings as well. Then had to fight them to reimburse return S&H since everything was their fault.
