TDS RULES!!!!

I'm sure this has been said MANY times, but I just have to say again that Lon and TDS is AWESOME. Ordered my Deluxe Headlight Repair Kit on Monday. Got it on Thursday. I'm in NC ... he's in Cali.

Fixed my headlight this evening in about an hour (with some help from my wife holding the springs and brushes back while I put the worm gear back in )

It was fairly simple and the instructions were worded very precisely. Some more pics would make the instructions PERFECT.

Thanks, Lon. As a small-business owner myself, I know how important good customer service is. I wish there were more out there like you!

That is the same way I feel about TDS. Ron was great to deal with and my Bird and I are ever greatful.
I have had people tell my that I will regret buying a Firebird because "when the lights stop working, its hundreds of dollers to fix em" I now try to explain how simple and cheap it is to fix, but poeple just say stuff like "my brothers friend's neighbor's daughter is dating a guy who works at the Breakitoffinem Chevy Dealer and he said you have to buy the whole motor"

i just finished installing my deluxe headlight repair kit for my 89 TA and i have to agree that it's a great product and Lon runs a great business. The kits come with GOOD instructions with color pictures, the only thing the instructions didnt mention was that it would be helpfull to have someone hold the brushes while you drop the assembly back together. I called him up before installation just to ask some questions, and damn he knows his third gen f-body's. I wish all companys were run like TDS, they way they should be! I also ordered new nylon guides for my hatch pulldown assembly, and they look like they are quality (nice and beefy) and am looking forward to installing them within the next few days. Thanks Lon!

The paperclip trick mentioned in the instructions makes it a one-man job. Some prefer string or fishing line.
