Finally something in Canada
I got KYB GR-2, two shocks, two struts, $127 Canadian, taxes in, delivered free to my door. Came from BC so it took a week but can't beat the price.autopartsonlinecanada.com

holy cow, that's less than I paid for just the GR-2 fronts!

edit, oh, I see the catch, they have virtually nothing for our cars. They have parts for cheesy economy cars, and some factory replacement parts, not much else.
Damn.

Try Mopac. Great prices. Compare your prices (after $ exchange) with Summit, (who have a beat a price guarantee, so their prices are great) when your shopping. Some prices are better, some not. Buy the cheaper from each of them. It means buying from 2 venders to get the job done, but it's money saved.

Mopac doesn't sell KYB.
And how'd you get all 4's for that price?
I'm quoted at $159 for the fronts, and $63 for the rears.

All im saying is it doesnt make sense that the cost of a strut has increased in 3 years, especially when it is still being manufactured.

I know your not the first and you wont be the last .You just get so invoved with these threads that you really dont pay any attention to when they were actually posted.
The price you were quoted is about right.Im curious what they sell for in the US probably half of what it costs here.

Re: Finally something in Canada
Great to see the Canadian auto parts seller!!!
I just wish there was more selection and more instock. It seemed like there were a lot of items listed as:
"Sorry, we do not currently have this part in stock. Our catalog uses real-time inventory which is updated daily. Please check back with us later to see if your part is in stock.
-Auto Parts Canada"
However you can bet I would still check back if I needed something. Right now I am just researching more then anything.

Re: Finally something in Canada
Thanks for the info Gibson27.
I haven't had much luck finding what I was looking for on this sight tho.
Last thing was a throttle body spacer. Ended up getting it from Summit.
However I will keep trying them for other parts. Shipping costs us a fortune here in Canada.

summit needs to move on up to canada.. they could be making lots of dough up here.. lots of people dont wanna pay the obnoxious shipping prices.. so there losing business.. but at the same time people are paying shipping and there making money.
