Just to give someone a heads up on ordering from summit living in Canada but shipping to the states and having back orders. I have dealt with summit a few times and their service is number 1 in my books. I put my order in last Wed and I recieved an email saying order is going through with one back order item. So I called and they said some bolts with your order will not be in until next friday. Well I need the order forget about the bolts ship them later.. So Friday morning come and I checked summit and order not shipped yet again. So I called and they said it is being verified because you live in Canada, but it will ship today. So Saturday night come and I looked and still not shipped, so I called again and the guy this time said we do not ship foreign orders until all backorder items have arrived. I din't figure I was foreign as I was shipping to the states. The order was 1000 and the back order item was 7.00. I said ship the damn order how maney calls do I have to make. Ship what you charged to my visa on Wed. I need the stuff to finish my project. I have never had problems with summit but how hard is it to ship an order. Just to let people know that have backorders with summit and live in Canada and ship to the states to stay on them. I will see if I can get it shipped Monday.

 

This is stated on their website....you better have a talking to with them, you are not considered foreign.

UPDATE: I must say I just got off the phone with Summit and they have informed me they are shipping my order out tommorrow via overnight priority air. That is what I wanted to hear. They stood up and showed their service shines.
