This company(or individual) held my money for well OVER a week after I paid him for my merchandise and it was not shipped in that time period. I would be highly skeptical of their business practices and not expect MUCH from them at all.

Just my two cents.

If you paid by personal check, it is common to hold shipping, to check that the check clears, the other persons bank.

I know I do that, on my STS orders. Money Orders and Paypal payments get shipped immediately, usually the same day.

Did you pay by personal check?

no i paid via echeck, which they received on the 12th and then it cleared and they had the money on the 16th. in their account. and then waited 9 more days before shipping.. just poor customer service IMHO

Did you mean autografics.com? While some people have had issues with them, I never had a problem.

Just curious if you realize they don't stock anything? They have to make the decals and they make them in the order they receive. That's why they have the rush order option.

Whether or not 7 business days is too long to get through all the orders they have is something we don't have enough information to decide ourselves.

Autografics always took a week and a half for my orders. However, they do make the things you want, therefore its a special order. So, it take him time to make the one you ordered. He doesn't stock them. So, next time just think about it and it makes all the sense in the world.

Still, I was a bit dissapointed to wait for my decals for about 2 weeks each. I got them though and they were magnificent.

i would have had absolutely NO problem with them taking over a week IF he had had not stated in his email to me that "your order will SHIP as SOON as payment cleared.. payment cleared and NO shipping for over another week.

I didn't mind the wait of a week, the decals were done correct the first time and were of quality stock. They installed easily and look like the originals. I was very happy with them.

There are several posts on this forum about this company. I always do a search on a company before ordering, prepares you for a wait or other issues. I doubt you could have had those decals made for the cost of what you paid, and the proper pattern would have been in question.

Well he's a jerk, here is what he wrote me and we did not pay by check, I had to check on this cause my Son complained he did not receive his $50 order in 2 weeks...and the USPS info showed that it was not even shipped yet even though he claimed it was, they put this as shipped on paypla to keep the money otherwise paypal will take it back if they did not ship soon. do not deal with this man, he probally does not have the money to buy materials and spent teh money he got, he is behind big time..anyway here is his email back to me, notice the time 3:21 am..

I've had a bad experience with Autografics as well.

I ordered hoodscoop decals for my '83 Z/28. When they came in, they were of a very high gloss, rather than the correct matte finish. I contacted the owner, thinking it would be no problem to exchange them. He basically told me to go scratch and if I wanted the correct matte finish, I should have specified it.

BTW, the only choices offered were:

1) Standard
2) Reflective
3) Metallic

So I don't know how I would have specified a matte finish.
