Yeah, I'm dumb, help me.
I'm thinking of doing business with a company outside of the usual vendors. The place is called the swap shop. Check out this link.

Has anyone done business with these guys? Be honest with pros and cons. I have a car that doesn't belong to me yet that needs an LS1/M6 conversion and was considering them. The total (which I'm not posting) is around the same as Hawks, Young's, and Speed inc. Speed inc was going to be my first choice cause they are literally 10 minutes from my house but I thought that for this car, and it is a special third gen, I would go to someone that wouldn't do a half *** job. Please tell me what you heard or if you've had experience with them.

You didn't say what kind of "special" thirdgen it is but if it's something rare why would you devalue it by modifying the car? I would recommend using a normal thirdgen for the swap.

every 3rd gen is special. but i dont like the looks of the 4th gen engines - lt and ls.
personally i think it looks rice burner to have those plastic pieces on the engine to cover the individual coils that fire each cylinder.
i like the look of a nice set of tpi - prefer stock ones - and i want to see valve covers, and headers too.
but that is just me - lots of people like the hp increase from the ls.
dont bother with the lt - it was a stop gap from our engine to the ls. that is why they discontinued it.
good luck with your new 3rd gen.

I can tell you one thing, NEVER do work with YOUNGS F-BODY. They have screwed so many people over and IIRC are still doing this to locals.

Ok, to clarify, the car belonged to my late mother and my father and her used to use it as a daily driver. When my mother passed, he stuck it in the garage but he has a twinkle in his eye for an LS1 M6 swap. It took big brass ones on part to mention to use that bird but believe it or not, he agreed! He said it would be a good idea to use that car cause that's what mom would have wanted. Anyway, I did hear that youngs wasn't a good idea but what about this place? Does anyone know stuff about them. The info on google is next to nill unless I'm just dumb. Please help me figure this out. Thanks guys.
