Auto Zone

you can still get some good parts for Trans Am,camaro,F body parts
just purchased a complete weather kit for my TA,door seals,t top seals,
hatch seals, and the rubber seal that goes on the glass top.spent $468.95
for the complete set and received $25.00 for every hundred you spend,
so they told me to spend another $32.00 and I'll receive another $25.00.
so I bought a cover for the TA.So now I'll get $125.00 back to spend at
Auto Zone.I was tired of E bay and all those shipping charges.

The kit is metro soft seal.I was looking at Rock prices and their price was cheaper for the same thing, but I got back a extra $100.00 so I still saved about $60 bucks with the free shipping.their price was about $390.00+$44 bucks for shipping.MAN ! I HATE THEM SHIPPING CHARGES

Update on weather seals,
sent back T Top weatherstrip set to Auto Zone.I was on TGO the other night and
came across across someone on this site that works at A1 auto so I clicked on A1 auto
and seen a much better deal. The new set will include L&R upper door panels with the
window sweeps, outer door rubber sweeps and the front window triangle seals.
Auto Zones didn't come with their kit,and A1 was 40 bucks cheaper with the sales tax
and free delivery.I don't know what brand they are but they claim their the most accurate reproductions on the market.the new kit has 13 pieces for $465.95 and
Auto Zones only had 7 pieces.

haha i work for AZ and i agree. on a busy day if we sell like $9k worth of stuff, we will see $4000 back in returns within 2 days. its rediculous the amount of returns we get and we do need a restocking fee. people do it all the time, buy something from us (if we order it for them or have it in stock) and they go out and find it somewhere else and they just return it all.

Re: Auto Zone

I don't have any control over their return policies.I called them to see if they'll add the extra pieces that A1 had,she said they don't handle them and offered me to return them.So I did,I would have paid the restocking fee if they asked.
The lady was very polite and friendly,as was I.
