Trickflow, Summit
Having trouble setting up my valve train, specifically push rod length, on my build. Called tech at both places, (bought the heads at Summit). TF wasn't very helpful and seemed like he was in a hurry. The guy at Summit, (Tom), was on the phone with me for 15 minutes gave me literally like 6 different things to try before I get different rocker arms. So, while I can't yet comment on the heads themselves, Summit gets a big thumbs up from me!

Re: Trickflow, Summit
you need a pushrod length checker? you set it up. and then order the right length. most times for a stock SBC with stamped rockers and an aftermarket aluminum head you need 7.900 inch long pushrods. But REALLY every engine should have custom length rockers.

Got one. But, for some reason, it's showing a stick way shorter than stock, which is kinda' weird. I've a got a few more things I want to try. If they don't work, rest assured, I'll be on here begging for help!

I had to use 6.850" pushrods http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-7633-16/, with 1.5 Scorpion Performance roller rockers http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SCC-SCP1037BL/ and summitracing 170 cylinderheads http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-162108/

I also replaced the valve springs with very soft springs, for the mesurment, found them in a harware shop.
