High Five and Thumbs up to South Bay Fuel Injectors

Just wanted to let everyone know about the superb customer service I received from SBFI. I ordered the Bosch III replacements for my 87 GTA 5.7L, Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator (Red), Walbro 255 fuel pump, and the gasket kit.

I received a call just letting me know they can include the red anodized AFPR with the kit I ordered, just isn't reflected on the website, (+1 for customer service) , I then received another phone call a few minutes later from them stating my address could not be validated by UPS (I live on a country road with a funky address), I assure the young lady on the phone that it would be OK the UPS man knows me and I receive packages all the time. She was genuinely concerned I would not receive my order. Well order showed up as expected and was packed very neatly and with no damage.

Way to go South Bay Fuel Injectors!

I have never had a company call me with a concern that my order might not get delivered because UPS could not validate my address. This is the first time I have heard of this and I receive UPS, DHL and FedEx deliveries all the time. Obviously no other companies have had concerns with my address not being "normal".

I will be working this weekend to get my headers coated and Y Pipe fabbed up, then next weekend is the fuel pump, new fuel filter, injectors and AFPR.

You won't be disappointed with those Bosch IIIs. I've been running them for almost a year now with zero problems with a holley AFPR and a Walbro 255.

They can take some PSI, too. I've had them as high as 55 without any issues, although I wouldn't recommend it.

wow...that's a **** load more fuel...what kind of ignition and intake you running with that? I plan on starting at about 45psi with the new injectors and going from there. it is a stock engine...so far...hehehe... i have the moates.net tuning hardware arriving monday if i can get the Y Pipe built and the headers coated over the weekend, I have an ABWT bin that I have modified for idle only so far that I will be trying after an initial startup with the factory bin, we'll see how it goes.. let me know what your running I would be interested in seeing the differences in what your engine likes and mine likes....

EDIT: so my fuel pressure at idle was 40psi and at WOT was 30psi, with injectors ohm'ing at anywhere from 15.8ohm to 17.2 ohm, plug check showed 2 of 4 on drivers side rich and other two lean, so this tells me injectors are not running with any consistency so i decided to pop for injectors, at WOT fuel psi was at 30psi so i decided to replace the factory fuel pump with the walbro 255 and go with the SBFI AFPR to dial it in, if this proves "worthy" I will modify to my engine's needs....

please excuse any mis-information as I HAVE been drinking... :P

I an actually running a custom chip designed to get a 12.5 AFR at WOT with the Bosch III's at 50PSI. I would +/- 5PSI to try and see how much needed to be skewed in the fuel tables to achieve the right AFR.

45PSI would be a good place to start. A wideband will really help the process.

yea WB02 is in my future but at this time out of range of fiscal expenditures, so i am going to try and tune without a WB02 and see how it goes..... (basically i can't afford it right now)
