Re: High Performance Pontiac Magazine
Kinda like gm high tech performance, though they are a little better
of course, you know what the editors response is? "show us a 3rd gen worth printing and we will"

^ I once had a subscription back when I had a 1st gen firebird.
They cover 4th gens a lot and have had the occasional 3rd gen.

Re: High Performance Pontiac Magazine
they used to have thirdgens articles more often however most magazines are like that.
Lately i see more and more thirdgens making it into magazines as they are finally hitting the nostalgic age.
and knowing i will **** a lot of members off...... the average thirdgen I come across no mater if its in Milwaukee, Chicago or even just normal forums with pictures of them in the back ground in such poor shape it looks just as sick as freshly hit cat in the road and some look like a fast a furious kid threw up on it.

i can remember when a lot of 1st and 2nd gens were looking rough. seems like you could buy any one back then for way under $1,ooo. one day 3rd gens will get more respect.
as for pontiacs,...well, slap a 455 in there and they'll probably jump all over that!

Re: High Performance Pontiac Magazine
They need reader’s rides
They need sponsors
They need subscription money
You give THEM too much credit.
They are not at the track. Their sponsors’ parts are not parts I would put on my car. The truth is much different than the marketing behemoth. Why look for love/validation outside, if you don’t have it within? AND if one has it, then why go looking for it? They have need, I do not. I may skim, but always put back down on the rack.
I’m not trying to bash, I’m asking where is the relevance?

Re: High Performance Pontiac Magazine
I pulled the photo from my last post here because it is a "Pontiac" thread.
My car did make it into a magazine called "Hemmings Muscle Machines" in August 2014.
They used a old photo from the internet to promote the " Goodmark" hoods showing a close-up of my "Goodmark" 2in Steel Cowl Hood.
Quite the compliment.
