Custom Chips Inc.
Re: Custom Chips Inc.
I got a chip from john Wayne several months ago and I'm very satisfied. He answered every question I've had and did it I'm a timely matter. The tune definitely woke my car up its a tpi 350. It has way better throttle response and pulls harder. I think some people have other issues and order a chip thinking it will fix them when it won't. I know I'll order another from him and would recommend him to anybody

Re: Custom Chips Inc.
And what did you do to compare the John Wayne chip and the chip that you "got from a member"?
Furthermore, Brian (Tuned Performance) hasn't been advertising his services for nearly a year if I'm remembering correctly. I was nothing but happy with his services, not to mention all the free advice he supplied to me. His bins were consistently better than the one I received from John Wayne, which was simply a stock with adjusted timing and injector constant. At the time I received my chip from John he hadn't informed me that I needed an adapter to use his chip, and when I sent him multiple emails about what I needed to do I was simply ignored.
Personally, I'd much rather have a chip that's a bit rich or has too little timing than a chip that's a bit lean and has way too much timing. It's safer that way and I can respect anyone who sells their chips that way. So if that's what's being used to quantify "running better", I don't think its accurate unless it can be verified through an AFR or just through the BLMs.

RS Invader , you seem to really be fond of Tunedperformance and keep standing up on his behalf. Why don't you just marry him if you like him that much?

Re: Custom Chips Inc.
It looks to me like none of those people want any one else to have a chip unless its from that guy Tunedperformance. See a connection? LOL I told them about my experience with Custom Chips and thats all it took to be accused of being someone I'm not and being attacked as well.

i really suck at typing on facebook, jesus. I get the whole vendor review thing but this is a bit ridiculous, if this guys named oscar or buddhist or whatever, i guess what someone should do it buy a john wayne chip, hypertech, jet, tuned, harris etc etc with the same exact mods and compare all of them as Meanz stated earlier. guess thatd put an end to all this? or maybe not?

Why are you harassing me in the first place? I just told about my experience with a chip company I came across on Facebook. You continually made comments to me and sent me messages? wtf? why? What is your goal here?

Easy. John Wayne which is Oscar Sebastian is being exposed here and he keeps denying who he is. The buddist deal is just to show that his phone number that is listed on his fb page is the same number as the number to the buddist office. Who works at the office? Oscar. Look at Oscars face on the buddist page and compare the picture to the Facebook person named Oscar Sebastian. Same guy. Now look at his partner in the buddist community (the lady). She is also a friend on Oscar Sebastians facebook. So there. Exposed.

92 RS Invader, you have been warned several times to stop harassing members on this website as well. Over and over again. This has been going on for years. Are you that sick of a person with nothing better to do? Why don't you find a girlfriend?

Who gives a **** what John Wayne is or what he does either? what is your motive here? Do I have to press charges for harassment against you? That I will do for false accusations and plain harassment. It is called harassment through and mis-use of an electronic communication device.

Re: Custom Chips Inc.
And to your other post, it's not that we want everyone to buy Tuned Performance chips, it's more so to buy a chip from someone with a good reputation or learn to make your own, which I feel is the best way if you have the time and equipment. The difference between Brian's chips and John's chips is Brian's have been proven time and time again to work well, be safe for your engine, and the support he offers in a nice plus. John's however have been hit or miss in my experience as well as in the experience of other members of this forum. The reason most of us are being so defensive is because you came in here bashing one of the most knowledgeable members, in terms of tuning, on this board and have not provided any quantitative evidence to back it up.

Well said RyanJB.
Reasons for how it's better is all I want. Preferably some type of data.
