Astro Performance / Tony...
Astro Performance Warehouse is located in Tavares, FL, not too far from Ocala, Don Garlits, etc...
They sell all sorts of rebuild & upgrade parts / kits for T5's, T56's, etc...
Tony was always very helpful, informative and knows his stuff... His dad actually started the business a long time ago...
I purchased an Astro A5, basically upgraded gears for a T5 (not G Force gears), a G Force T5 case and upgraded forks... They were out of gear sets when I first contacted him in early August... the made in USA gear set arrived mid November and even though I had asked him to take a deposit for a set in August, he never actually ran it til late November.
I drove up Friday (2 hour each way from Tampa Bay Florida to pick it up and give him my T5 core. It was a pleasure talking to him and having him show me stuff around the shop. It's amazing when you meet someone so knowledgeable and that exudes confidence and a love of what they do.
Email or call if you have any questions about just about any transmission upgrades... be warned, their website doesn't have much GM stuff, but they do sell it... Next will be a review of the actual A5 trans after it gets broken in and used a bit more

Great so far, but I'm only about 60 miles into the 500 mile break in... along with a new McCleod clutch / plate and GMPP Flywheel, so I still have some miles to take it easy on the car.
In neutral, you can hear gear mesh,being the gears are a lot wider, it shifts great 1 - 5 (I'm sure the Pro 5.0 shifter isn't hurting either)...
I'm working on the interior at the moment, so I have wires for everything instead of switches... so after it's all buttoned up again, I'll get more miles on it...
I think it's a good option... it weighs about 3 more pounds than stock, but about 30 pounds less than a Tremec, and it bolts right in, unlike the Tremec...
