10% off for all thirdgen.org members from Summit

We'd like to thank a lot of you that have shown support here for Summit Racing. We appreciate the many comments that have been posted, and we appreciate your business.

To say "thanks," we're offering a 10% discount to ALL thirdgen.org members through April 20, 2001. The "fine print" is pretty simple:
no minimum order required; the discount is off Summit's regular prices, no other discounts apply; you must call our toll-free number (800) 230-3030 to get this discount; not valid for Internet or retail store orders; not valid for gift certificates or subscriptions; we reserve the right to limit quantities.

**IMPORTANT** You must give the salesperson this thirdgen.org code to get your discount: L52720

I hope I didn't offend anyone with this commercial posting. I cleared this with the web moderator before I posted it.

Thanks again for your business. We truly appreciate it.

Regards,
Jon Hedges

Thanks Summit, guess this is as good a time as any to order up my new crank, forged pistons, and rods. Now if I could only talk you into a layaway plan for that Dart SBC block that can be bored and stroked to 455 CI.

Woah. Just when you think you're already holding a company in high esteem, they go and do something even better.

Thanks Mr. Hedges and Summit

Someone mail Jegs and see if they'll give us 30% off. Then at least their prices will be comparable to the prices without discount from Summit.

I always did like you guys better. Especially after Jegs botched my header order, sent me ford headers instead, then took two months of processing to fix the problem. And now I have one more reason to buy from Summit.

Now what should I buy?

I ordered all my parts from Summit about 3 weeks ago for my engine swap. Everything from battery to air cleaner, holley TB, to a balancer, spent over $600 and I'm the guy that went over to Jegs in person to present them the print out of the post.
Oh well, now I need a hood, I guess it'll be from Summit again.

unless of course I decide not to buy anything local which is always a possibility

I purchased my first Summitracing product back in 1987, 88? It's that great Hurst Comp+ shifter seen in my signature. They were very good back then and, it seems, even better now!
