Experience with TPIS this week

I've seen alot of good and bad regarding TPIS so I figured I'd relay my recent expereience.

Last Friday evening, I ordered a Random Tech catalytic converter from the TPIS website (they had the best price that I could find).

When it still hadn't arrived on Tuesday, I got onto my credit card web site to see if there was a charge for the cat against my credit card. There was not. So, I figured that there was either a problem with the order or the cat was on back order.

Wednesday afternoon, I called the TPIS phone number supplied on my online order confirmation to see if there was any problem. I spoke with a helpful woman who informed me that the cat shipped Saturday (the morning after I ordered it) via UPS 4-day service. She then gave me the UPS tracking number.

I went to the UPS website and entered the tracking number for the package. The website told me that it was delivered to my house at 1:30pm (it was 3:00pm when I checked). Since I was at work, I called my wife and she said that it was there.

No fuss, no problem.

Now, are they ever going to charge my credit card? We'll see.

I give them a thumbs up based on this one experience.

I have said this before, my first four transactions with them were great. I was a loyal customer and went back for a fifth. It was SO bad that they will never see another dollar of mine. If they had made even a small attempt to resolve the problem I would have been satisfied. So to each his own, from what I have read it's about 50/50 good/ bad. Pay your money and take your chances.

Hey KeithO.....

You probably won't see a charge on your credit card right away.
Whenever I check credit card websites for purchase info I always find that they are late in displaying the info. Some places only have your last months statement and call it current info. Go figure on that one.

I'm sure they have charged your credit card for the purchase. I work for a distributor, and we never ship anything without the credit card being processed. Dem's da rules.

91 Mystic Teal RS Convertible. 305 TBI, Auto, stock.
125,000 miles and still going strong.
Only minor mods planned for the near future.
Like headers, flowmaster exhaust, some ignition mods, K&N airfilter, Perhaps a chip if needed.
Waiting for the motor to blow up so I can install a ZZ4 crate motor. Let's just hope it don't blow up too soon.

It took them like 45 days to finally charge my credit card when I bought my cat there.
Oh,Also about 2 months after installing the cat it developed a stress crack and split completely around,I called and told them about it and they sent me a new one no questions asked....definately satisfied.
