Street and Performance

I have not seen anybody on this website mention Street and Performance, they deal in electronic fuel injection components and a lot of chrome and polished products. Anyway, they are TOP NOTCH. I have ordered from them twice and they are as fast as ordering from Summit, which I could not believe. I ordered some items on Monday and talked to Lambert about polishing a trottle body, he said mail it to him and he would ship it with the rest of my order. Anyway the day that they recieved my throttle body, I called Lambert and told him that I would be going out of town in two days, he told me that he would call me back later that day and when he did the throttle body was complete, mine was a BBK, so I know that it was not one that they already had completed. They shiped it next day for me and I had it before I left. My point is the customer service is OUTSTANDING and I would reccommend them highly to anybody.

I agree, S&P is great company to deal with. Not only that, they are truly friendly. On my 1st trip to Mena, Ark. I arrived on a Sunday. I wanted to find the shop for my planned visit on Monday, so I drove around till I found it. I was surprised when I found people there. I poked my head inside the door, only to be greeted by the owner. I was even more surprised when he invited my sons and I to tour the shop with him.

I've been away from hot rodding for several years, but now that I'm getting back into it, S&P was the 1st companies I called. As before they were extremely helpfull. Although they would have been glad to sell me the part I was after they actually directed me to a local supplier.

If you are looking for a laid back vacation spot, try Mena. It's a very hot rod oriented area and a good place to beat the summer heat. Brodix heads is also located there and happy to give tours. No free samples tho

I had no problems with them. I use their MPFI unit. Very kool piece! They are very helpful also.
But I wish CHP or other mags would do a performance test on their unit and compare them to the other companies tpi units.

Well, I hate to throw a wrench in the works now, but my father had an '87 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe built frame off by them. $127,000 later, the car was absolutely beautiful! They put a fully polished LS1, T-56 tranny, Currie 9" rear end, $4,000 stereo, etc, killer paint job, etc...Well, within the first 2 miles after picking it up, a fuel line popped off on the firewall and leaked a ton of fuel onto the ground. Then, within another 500 miles, the harmonic balancer flew off of the motor and rolled about 100 yards down the street. The $4,000 stereo was installed without an antenna, so it didn't even pick up radio stations. After 2000 miles, the pinion seal had been replaced twice for leaking. The tranny had to be pulled and rebuilt because it there was only 1 quart of fluid added from S&P and it burnt up. In the end, my dad got fed up with the car and sold it in an auction for $24,500 with a little more than 2000 miles on it, so he basically pissed $100,000 dollars away.

I bought a ZZ4TPI chip from them. Still not sure how good it is. I tried to get an "intelligent" person on the phone about it. All I could get was the un-informed receptionist. I sent numerous e-mails asking what parameters they had changed in the chip, all I got was canned answers. I'm not impressed.

I heard they make plugs for the cold start injector. Anybody know their phone number or website address?
