Ricks Camaro
I order a Manual steering box from Rick back in Feb for a conversion from power steering to manual on a 88 Camaro. with the way I work I order parts for the summer months so that when I get back home I can install them. for the past two weeks I have tried to locate a pitman arm that works with this box and the Camaro . So we decide to go back to power steering. I called Rick today to send the box back and was inform sorry its over 60 days we cant take it back I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM RICKS AGAIN. IF YOU ARE LIKE ME AND ORDER PARTS TO AS YOU CAN AFFORD THEM YOU MAY NOT HAVE ALL THE PARTS YOU NEED WITHIN 60 DAYS..

Re: Ricks Camaro
60 days is more than gracious for a return period...
When it comes to the buyer not doing their research and then waiting over 2 months to attempt a return, I can't see how the vendor is responsible in any way.

It must be nice to have a job were your home every night of the week. See I on the other hand have to go out of town and my job requires me to be away from home up to 2 to 3 months away seeing that I work on nuke power plants

Your work schedule is of no consequence to the vendor.
I think you have unrealistic expectations from vendors if you think that a 60 day return policy is unacceptable. If I buy something from Amazon, I don't expect them to take it back 60+ days later.

Re: Ricks Camaro
Sorry to hear about your predicament concerning "Rick's Camaro".
I have been using them since they were just "Eckler's" = a very long time...
Always very professional and knowledgeable as far as I'm concerned.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for Camaro parts.

Re: Ricks Camaro
Yeah, that sucks to have not realized the 60 day policy up front. But I bet you'll be able to recover some of your money by listing the part on this board. I've made some goofs, too, in getting parts and doing work for my Camaro refresh, and am learning it to be expected of the Thirdgen experience. As you progress you'll end up with other parts that are not as described by sellers, or don't fit well, or are simply the wrong part for the job. Hang in there and keep that Thirdgen alive and on the road.
