I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm doing a pretty big build and I got a new toolbox to do it. When I started ordering parts I realized Summit and Jegs were the only people that still give out stickers with a parts purchase.
Does anyone have any companies off the top of their head that still ship with stickers???
Dang, I was really hoping holley would hand hand some out with their terminator x box. I feel like everyone used to send them and now it's all online marketing
Here's my garage fridge. Started slapping auto-part related stickers on it about four years ago.
Just noticed ECS is violating my one and only one sticker policy. I will have my son, who apparently put that one there, remove one and then slap him with a memorable fine.
I've bought quite a few parts for my build over the past year and all of the following companies included stickers with the parts I purchased: Summit, Jegs, Speedway Motors, UMI, Hooker, Wilwood, AEM, JetHot, CXRacing, Eddie Motorsports, Squash Performance, Autometer, BMR, Comp Cams, Melling, Wiseco, Lunati, Accel and MSD. I have so many UMI and Summit stickers - I don't know what to do with them all.
Holley sells a grab bag of 24 stickers for $15. That's a pretty good deal. I just bought from their website and they didn't charge shipping or tax on my order. https://www.holley.com/products/appa...s/parts/36-462
Hot tip for the 'a little is good, a lot is better' crowd. I put all my stickers on peel and stick magnetic backing. Cut around the sticker with scissors and then you have a magnet you can slap on the fridge, tool box, car, whatever. Then when you need to rearrange things, get a new fridge, upgrade the tool box, you peel the magnets off and transfer them to the new one. Pretty sure you can get the magnetic sheets at Walmart and Hobby Lobby, probably plenty of other sources. I've also had a bulk quantity of magnetic backings precut business card size, for the businesses that send a card instead of a sticker, peel and stick the business card, slap it on the fridge and they don't get lost. Wish I'd started sticking magnetic backings on stickers years ago, I'm not much for adding semi-permanent marketing graffiti to my stuff, so many stickers went in the trash or were slapped on various disposable tools and appliances, my current collection is a bit thin.
Almost any place that sells upgraded parts sends stickers.
I have a manila envelope of stickers like you wouldn't believe from all the stuff I've ordered since the 1990s. Figure I'll sell it on ebay some day for a hefty price.
Drew - that’s a great idea about the magnets!!
I’ve been mounting my car show dash plaques to sticky back magnet strips. Like you said, this way I can move them around on the metal cabinet in my garage. Never thought to do the same thing with stickers. Duh!
I just got one the other day from the strangest place...A Champion oil filter. Inside was an info sheet made out of sticker material and a circular Champion sticker was cut out of it.
Any time I've made purchase there was always (or 9 times out of 10) a decal included.
One thing these vendors might be interested in is supplying you with a contingency sticker. Not sure if you have to prove you're in a sanctioned racing program but it's advertising for them and money in your pocket if you go rounds.
That's what most of the decals on my tool box are.
I used to have a ton of stickers i got when i worked for a speed parts distributor back in the 90s.This is all i have now, most of them were on a work bench that i sold.
My old work bench.
Damn, I was kinda confused and surprised to read this, I seem to get stickers from all sorts of places!! Most of the stickers I have are from parts I ordered, some are from events I have been in, and some are just cool automotive related stickers. .... A few years ago I decided to put them around the bottom of my garage walls, even behind the toolboxes too.... Once that got filled up, I started putting them on the inside of the garage door. I try not to use duplicates of the same sticker/company, unless it is another significant ($) purchase from the same company. Will probably fill up the center area of the garage door within the next year or so; after that.. I duno, maybe start on the the ceiling!?!?

Speaking of that, I bought one of the Wix racing filters, and inside the box it also had a Wix filters sticker

Same here. I had so many Summit stickers that I just covered one of the garbage cans in my garage in those. A bunch found their way on the garage cabinets. Still, I have dozens stashed away in manila envelope. If I ever move, I think I'll take the upper cabinets with me.
Missing a few, Im not sure where I put my speed engineering stickers.
Been racing dirt bikes a long time, so many stickers from that, especially when you get support from companies. Raced short track last year so a few from that, and the majority is just from trans am stuff.
Got this tool box for christmas, the gf said I should use up some of my sticker collection since I have so many duplicates. Usually don't like to graffiti my stuff up, but most of these stickers are either from parts for the car or have some story behind them. My motocross days are over, but it is nice to see some mementos from my glory days. Not that I was ever that great.

I ordered a couple ICT kits earlier in the year, so disappointed
Okay. I give up. Where is your Summit racing sticker on there?

As for Summit...I have plenty.
ha yup. my one neighbor said the same thing, hes a hot rodder el camino guy.
- I purposely have so far avoided adding a JEGS or Summit sticker to the wall, just out of principal. I have far too many jegs and summit sticker sheets in my collection and I am goign to do something similar to what you and "garagetoys" did and plaster them ALL oneto one item one day. I have a few more stickers comign in the mail this week and that part of the garage door will be completed. then, its onto another surface to fill up.
it is finished,
.... minus one sticker I am still waiting for. Mickey Thompson will be sending me a sticker, but they are working from home due to Covid-19, so once they can send one, I'll make some space for the MT sticker.
Summit stopped sending me stickers in early 2020 I think, maybe they saw my pile of them in my workbench video? I need to do some more around the corner and by the door but I got plenty left.
I call WalMart the land of the giant a$$e$ and hanging bellies. Male, female, or other - it doesn't matter.
You need to go to different Wal-Mart. Maybe a different part of the country, like FL. In my neck of the woods you will leave Wal-Mart with a crick in your neck!
You guys gave me a severe case of STICKER SHOCK!
Especially with the Walmart posts. Don't you know that the big women will keep you warm in the winter, and under plenty of shade in the summer!
