Engine: 350 tpi dropped in
Transmission: 700r4
Ignition coil keeps frying. Plus code 42 350 tpi

I've looked up several threads and can't seem to get a conclusive answer. What could cause that

Could a bad distributor or icm or combination of both cause it. Just got it running and was doing good then this code popped up then as I was driving it died and then I saw the ignition coil fry.
