I tried the stock bracket and it didnt work, so i ordered a accel bracket and it doesnt line up with the holes at all. WTF! I spent $30 bucks on a paper weight!

yes thats why i order the one in the pic from jegs, they said it was the superram bracket. But the holes dont line up on the superram intake. You cant even get two holes lined up

hmmn, maybe they sent you the stock one...check it to your stock one. is it the same? I'd really have to look at it closely to see if you could fbricate it...maybe you could make a mounting plate to accept it? weld the bracket to a piece of metal, and then drill the correctly spaced holes in the new piece of metal (but the barcket may still not have the right angle,...but you could probably rotate it to account for that too.....any shop can weld it for you
, just keep it a tinner gauge, so it doesn't change the distance from the upper plenumm much

The bracket Jegs sent you is for the LT1 SuperRam. The LT1 SuperRam plenum is 5/8" shorter which necessitates the holes and the bracket being different. Same thing happened to me. I checked with Accel, they told me what I had received. I called Jegs and told them what Accel had told me and they then sent me the correct bracket. Major hassle because of Jegs screw up.

no yours fit perfect, thanks again. Jegs sent me the one in the pic a week earlier than expected, which turns out to be a lt1 superram bracket. I got the one from jegs thursday and then got yours friday, (thank ***, i was about to kill someone after the jegs one didnt fit) I was planning on canceling the jegs order after i got yours, but it came early. Got it all together, but the transmission still wont shift right. Still wondering if the nos offset bracket is throwing off the bracket alignment. The nos bracket is the silver piece in the pic, which pushes the throttle bracket closer to the TB.

I accually had to drill out the holes more on my other bracket so I Could play around with the geometry
There is a plastic sleeve on the TV cable end. There is also a "D" shaped metal button on the cable end. Push the "D" shaped metal piece in, and then slide the plastic sleeve all the way back into the housing. Most cables the button is very hard to press, just so you expect that. Then go into the car, and press the pedal down to the floor. You should hear a ratcheting noise as the cable readjusts itself. As long as the teeth on the plastic sleeve are not worn out, the adjustment will hold and your job is done.

so you slide the plastic part witht the teeth on it all the way nto the housing, so it dissapears and all you see is cable and then the "D" shaped button? thanks alot!
