what kind of wiring harness and ecm would i need? how difficult and what sort of ballpark of cost am i looking at?

You will need to replace your TBI wire harness and computer with a TPI harness and computer. Fuel pump has to change also. Add all this and the cost of the Miniram intake setup alone with other things like injectors and sensors and you'll be at $2000 faster then you can blink. I'd say the difficulty level is a 9 out of 10.

If you search, you'll find a post I did a while back on repinning your harness to work with multiport fuel injection. After that you'll need a '730 ecm, and some misc connctors like for the injectors. Figure like $30-50 for the ecm, and maybe another $10-20 for the junkyard connectors.Originally posted by costill91Z

You'll need a throttlebody, and injectors for your miniram, a fuel pump, plus the miniram itself.

...and you think it'll be harder than retrofitting an LT1 intake onto a gen 1 SBC?
Naaah. Not 9 out of 10 for difficulty. However I have to wonder: What engine are you currently using TBI on, and are you planning on running the miniram on it as it sits? Remember that Miniram is best suited for 350+CID with cam & beefed-up valvetrain.
