I haven't really had a chance to try it out, car went straight to the paint booth once it was running.

It sounds, feels and acts much healthier. Revs real quick now.

i'm gonna say maybe 300-325 at the crank...that stock cam is probably holding you back...i have almost the same setup but L98 alum heads and 276HR cam, and some people rated it at like 375 or so...

3 angle valve job
Don't know if you've noticed, but most valves come w/ a 3 angles cut on them.

That's a good point, factory heads probably just run a standard 45* and a margin.

Well, the reason I asked is a member has one for sale. Looked like a good size cam for my application.

oh, well in that case

Some people have had really good luck w/ that came. You won't see the full potential untill you get heads, but it will be a big upgrade from stock.

I agree with Freebird. The ZZ9 is OK but you need heads to see the full potiential. Stock gasket matched heads and a 3 angle valve job is not full potiential.

I know my heads are not as good as Darts or AFR's but they have had more done than gasket match. They have been fully ported with a lot of reworking done on the radius's and under the valves. Got to look up my flow charts, but thy did very well.
