I'm looking into a rebuild soon on my 350. I think i'm gonna go with AFR 195 heads, but i'm still considering a cam. Unless i hear different i'll probably go with the LPE 219/219 cam. I'd like the car to turn mid 11's. The best i've gotten it to run with stock heads and cam is 13.21@104.63. So what do u guys think of the 219 cam choice???? thanks

that cam on a well tuned 350-355 will do bottom 12's, atleast thats the best i have seen. maybe on slicks it could do 11's but i havent really seen it

i been searchin this for a while cuz i want a high 11 second street car and thats what i have seen so far

trap speeds seem to be in the low 11-teens which can be good for a 11 second pass with the LPE 219 cam

that LPE 219 cam on a tuned 383 tho should dip high 11's.

with that said, i think ur gonna want a slighly bigger cam. i would think a 355 with superram and a zz409 like cam would be nice for high 11's. new comp cams xfi 230/236 on a 383 would be something i would do but now i'm thinkin of goin HSR. that cam might be too big for a 350 tho but could work if tuned right. that should be a nice 11 second combo if tuned well.

theres a thread with a ZZx cam on a superram'd 406 that made about 400rwhp and ran bottom 11's at 121 in a 3400lb raceweight vette i believe. so your gonna want atleast 360-380rwhp to do mid high 11's in a fbody with full weight
