Weight after ls swap

I want to start off by saying i did search but only found one example for my question. Im wounder how much your guys/gals third gens have weighed after the ls swap. My car is a 84 coupe with the smc hood. Engine is a tvs1900 5.3, trans is a built astro a5, rear end is a borg 9 bolt, full weight with all chromemoly suspension, air conditioning, car will have a 6 point cage as well. Just woundering if anybody has a similur built car and what your weight was with or with out driver. Thanks for the input in advance and please hold the criticism on the transmission choice thank you

Re: Weight after ls swap

What kind of bellhousing are you using to mount the T5 to the 5.3?

Re: Weight after ls swap

I will be using a quick time bellhoysing if i recall correctly, with scatter shield. They make a bell that supports the 168 tooth flywheel and has both t5 bell mounting angles built in. So ill get to use a lsx flywheel and clutch set up with the external slave and fork set up with the lsx clutch unit and run the t5 at the correct tilted angle. Insted of using the 621 bbc bell and losing the transmissions angle. Hope that helps you out and awnsers your question.

I'm guessing you'll be over 3400 lbs w/o driver. I had an '82 Berlinetta LS1/T56 with AC, 9", no roll bar, that weighed around 3600 lbs with me in it.
