How to change/measure/set Fuel Pressure in HSR?
I don't feel like registering at stealthram.com for one question so please don't suggest it. I got the holley adjustable fuel pressure regulator and have a FP gauge on my fuel rails. I'm wondering if the car has to be running. And I remember hearing just pull the vacuum hose, correct? Does anyone remember which way turning the set screw raises/lowers the pressure? Thanks!

TTT, im on this step. I think im gonna hook up a guage to the fuel rail somehow and set it at 40.

I usually set my fuel pressure by manually jumpering my fuel pump with the engine off. I have a gauge permanently in the rail.
You are pretty much forced to remove the vacuum line from the regulator in order to adjust it. I'm pretty sure clockwise increases fuel pressure, but it'll be immediately obvious when you make a change.

Great. Also, do I just remove the hose entirely and cap off the port on the back of the plenum?
For those that care:
I bought a fuel pressure gauge, and quickly realize that it wouldn't fit due to the location of the fitting on the gauge. Well I used an extra 90* elbow that was original connected the oil pressure sender to the intake manifold.

98+. Looks better, has low fluid sensor, and is easier to refill. I think I paid $20 for it as well.

You can simply turn the key to the ON position (do not start engine). You should hear the fuel pump turn on and prime the fuel rail. The peak fuel pressure that you reach doing this procedure is the same fuel pressure at WOT and same as engine running with vacuum lines pulled & plugged.
