use an lt1 pcv valve, then connect the valve to a vaccume port right next to it. it is how the factory did it. then you can just run a nice breather on the valve covers. thats what i did.
fyi: only the factory replacment pcv grommet and valve should be used do to the aftermarket stuff not fitting well.
as for the map, i left mine in becuase i am going to switch to a speed density setup or possibly a maegasquirt if i like how tibo's new one works. if you are going to stay maf, then just find a tight rubber plug and stick in or have it welded up then paint it.

There is a port underneath the throttle body for the PCV line to plug into. That's where I ran it on my brothers car, and its where the factory routes it to. Just need a little 90* rubber elbow on the front port. I used some of the factory LT1 provisions to get it hooked up.
EDIT: this might not be as feasible for conversions with the coolant nipples in the front. Oh, and as was said, then just use breathers in the valve cover for the fresh air part.

the pcv can just be ran to the port next to it. less clutter in an already cluttered engine bay.

i just have plugs on my tb nipples because i didnt need to use them because the pcv system is all self contained in the intake now, i did not want to have oil find its way back into the tb to coke it up like on the stock setup.
the cv's find their way into the intake through the bottom cover.
you can do what you want, but if you use the tb hoses to to the valve cover, use a grommet that has a guard to keep mass amounts of oil from finding its way into the hose.

that would be 2 breathers if your valve covers are aftermarket like mine (mine only have 2 holes, one on each side), or if you have factory, 1 breather per a side then plugs were they are needed.
i used zoops ball milled breathers on mine because my covers are ball milled and it also matches the intake.
