In terms of chip tuning, did you run into any troubles with those manifolds especially the miniram??

The Super ram and Stealth were very very close to the same, I could not believe it.

The Miniram was a real pain, could not tune out the richness with 30# injectors, then went to SVO 24# injectors and it was better but not perfect.

M goal is to get a hi-rise hood and then add 2" to the top of the HSR intake thus lenghtening the runenrs to almost extactly half way between a SR and a Minram.

LD85,

Did you ever think of going to a solid roller cam? The miniram setup would have enjoyed that. I'm contemplating such a setup.

Yes, but I decided to stick with Hyd-Roller, my buddy has a miniram with a similar Sold Roller grind cam and he traps at 120MPH @ 12.03

I currently trap at 116mph with a slipping clutch, so we'll see

With how many corvette owners there are trying to make HSR's work, you'd think holley would just fix the stupid too-tall design.

Nice work. Came out really good.

Yeah. I agree. Not much room under the hood of a C3 either...

yea you would think that holley would of just modified the base to so the intake would the same height as a factory TPI, would of made so many things so much easier. I wanted to run a strut tower bar but i dont think thats gonna happen if i want a HSR. :-(

Re: Chopped HSR to fit under a C4 Vette hood

I have 3 c4 vettes. ..people keep giving them away so I keep buying them...keeping the 90 black tag zf6 fx3 car and building it. Already picked up a HSR unused still in box for $2k. Planning a stout 383. Your mod is spectacular and I will absolutely be copying it.
Any other tuning or other info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Well done sir.

Bringing this back from the dead in hopes that LD85 is still around. I'm currently looking for a different solution to fitting the HSR under a stock Firebird hood without cutting the bracing out. Since the photos that LD85 posted are no longer available I was hoping that someone either saved these photos or LD85 saw this a could post these photos again.
