Is my massair sensor bad??

I just completed a stealthram 383 with custom chip, It is a mass air sensor motor. The car ran like a raped ape for about 2 Weeks, then it was hard to start the first start in the morning,,stalled, ran crappy.pulled codes ony code is 33 massair sensor>anyway i readjusted everything. minimum air, iac, timeing, tps. When i unplug the massair sensor the motor almost died then ran smoothly.drove car burned rubber and ran great. is there anyway to test it? could it be my ecm or prom?

MAF fun

I would definitely check the relays for the MAF sensor and verify that all the wiring is good and tight-fitting as well as the ducts (or whatever you call 'em) where the MAF sensor resides. The fact that unplugging it helped indicates to me that it is MAF sensor related, although I would verify all connections (air and electrical) before I even considered buying another one at $150 a pop. If you know someone who has a verified good one you can swap, I'd try that. You can also check the voltages, because I'm certain someone here has posted the entire diagnostic procedure for MAF problems....they seem to be a fairly common malfunction.
