Intake for 383
I recently built a 383 for my 86. It's got Brodix IK180 heads, 1.6 roller rockers, and a Comp XFI Cam:
Operating Range: 1300-5300 RPM (1100-5100 with 383)
Duration Advertised: 252° Intake / 266° Exhaust
Duration @ .050'' Lift: 208° Intake / 217° Exhaust
Valve Lift w/1.6 Rockers: .477'' Intake / .472'' Exhaust
Lobe Separation Angle: 113°
I built the motor with the intentions of keeping the LTR design, and it currently has the stock TPI on top. My question is with the cam and heads that are currently on the car would it be more beneficial to keep a LTR design or go with a holley stealth ram?

Holley Stealthram. Is that a flat tappet version of the Comp Cams XFI cam? You were being very conservative on you choice of parts. Should have a ton of torque.

Yes, it's the flat tappet version. Yeah, I was conservative because I was planning on using a LTR design, and I use the car for the street, but I want it to be fast also. Just curious if my current set-up would perform better with a modified TPI or a Stealthram since the cost would be about the same to either route.

A Superam may a better choice for your combo.
However if your considering going to a better intake you really need to get a bigger cam as well. That cam is really small for a 383. And if your thinking of going with a better flowing (higher rpm) intake manifold, you should be looking for cams with duration in the 220+ range as well.
Im running a TPIS ZZ409 cam 226/226* with my Miniram 383 and the thing idles like its stock! LOL, I really wish I went with a bigger cam.
