type of injector
i am looking to buy some injectors.
i talked to the svo(ford) dealer in the area and priced out some 30lb red top injectors but then he asked me if they were ev1 or ev6?
i wasnt sure .
so i ask what do i have ev1 or ev6.
or can you suggest another injector.

I'm using LS1 injectors with my Stealthram setup . I think they are around 28lb injectors .They're quite noisy though .

yes . It sounds like a solid lifter car . I'm going to try raise the fuel pressure from 46lbs to 50 and see if that helps . If I remember correctly LS1's run higher fuel pressure

All LS1 cars run 58 psi fuel pressure, given that, they flow 26 or 28 #/hr. The '99s and '00 used the 26s, while the '98s, 01s and 02s used the 28s.
In our third gen cars, these 26s & 28s will flow about 22.5 & 24.5 #/hr, respectively.

Re: type of injector
Did you have any fit problems with the LS1 injectors? I'm about to do the same swap and heard that the LS1's are shorter and may not fit my S/R. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

No problems on the fit on the SR. I also used them before in the stock manifold with no issues .

Re: type of injector
You need to be very careful here. The LS1 injectors in my '99 Camaro SS are 0.12" shorter from oring to oring. My L98 injectors measure 2.68", while the LS1 injectors measure 2.56"... Several poeple on this site have had huge fuel leaks using LS1 injectors. In fact, I read that SLP has stopped recommending using LS1 injectors in our TPI 3rd gen cars.
