Im sure you guys know what this is...it was on the back of the plenum of the TPI....I followed it and one end goes to the cruise control vaccum thingy....I think..I dont know where the other end goes..it ends up in a big gaggle of wires and stuff..do I need this with the HSR? or can I just remove it?

that looks like a vacuum line for a regulator. I had one like that on my TBI for the Adjustible Regulator that had a vacuum line. maybe the same thing. JUst hook up what the user manuel says and that all you should have to use. If you have the C950 most of the wires in the engine bay aren't needed anymore. My 2 cents

nah Im not ueing the C950 management system......I had TPI and Im just hooking up what wire I have from that....the vaccum line Im showing was used on the back of the TPI plenum...one came off the regulator and went to the back of the plenum and the one Im showing went to the back of the plenum also.......but with the HSR there is only one connection for the line comeing of the regulator.

i hope im making sense.....

That is a check valve.
It is used for the cruise control and I think the other line goes to the HVAC inside the car.

do I need this? you mean if i remove it I wont have cruise control?..how would I hook it up if there is only one vaccum connection on the back of the HSR?

if I just remove that valve and connect the 2 lines together will that work? or doe it need vaccum? for the plenum?

It needs vacuum.. thats how it works.

If you don't have those lines hooked up cruise control wont work. The HVAC wont go to the off position and will always be defaulted to the defrost/vent setting and you will not be able to change it.

What do you mean there is only one vacuum connection on the HSR? There is about 5 ports total on the hsr. You only need one port for this check valve and if none are open use a T fitting from the fuel pressure regulator/map sensor vacuum line or drill and tap another hole to put another fitting in.

yeah..i just figured that out..I have like 2 holes in the back plugged...I can just unplug one and put a fitting on there like I got for the fuel reg. and then I should be good to go....
