What are these?? pics inside

Hi all. My car is an 86 TA but the harness is out of an 89. I recently hooked up a good battery to test the fuel system for leaks, but I have no power. The distributer is out and unplugged as well as the starter, however I attached the starter power wires together. there are these two connectors at the rear pass side valve cover that i have no clue what they go to. Heres the pic below.

Ok, which means they won't affect the no power problem whatsoever. So does anyone have any recommendations on relays to check, or whether the distributor has to be plugged in for it to work or not? Also, would the starter have to be there? I connected the three starter power lines, so i figured it would be fine. Cars been off the road for 2 long years, and i'm really anxious to get it goin again!
