HSR fuel lines
I'm putting in a HSR on my 383 in my 89 IROC, I was wondering what the best kit would be for installing the fuel lines. The car is 20 yrs old and I want to replace the entire fuel system because it's been sitting for about 5 years. What I'm looking at right now is the Deluxe filter to pump kit from summit part # SUM-PUMPKIT2. I am planning on getting a bigger fuel pump, filter later, tank, and lines, before i start it of course. I was wondering if this would be a good idea, or if there is a better way to go.

Re: HSR fuel lines
I mean... you can do all that if you want to. My car sat for 2 years b/c it needed a fuel pump and I lacked the place to actually do it, and the time really. I replaced the pump shortly before I installed the HSR.
Honestly I'd just flush the system, and clean the tank while it is out for the fuel pump. Replace the pump, and change the filter. Then piece together the pieces needed to adapt the factory fuel hard lines to -6AN (i.e. line adapters, Earl's fittings, and about 6 feet of -6N braided steel line... ) which you can find using a search on this site... or over at stealram.com
That's what I did... Other than that what you have on the car is fine...

Thanks, I'll probably just try that for now, It will save me some cash for now, which is the biggest issue right now (why it's been sitting for 4 of the 5 years)
