What is the best Intake for me?
I have a 305 tpi, dual cats oem, 3" all the way out no muffler, 1.6rr, CAI, 3:73 gears, T5, the larger cam "g92", keeping everything else stock... Which intake would give me the fastest E.T. at the track w/o having to tune?
As is my car runs a 14~14.6? 1/4 because I run exactly w/ my friends 13.97 best ET 350 bird... so where do u think a new intake would put me?

Re: What is the best Intake for me?
Having a 305 TPI; I would stick with the factory intake for the most part. Those factory intake parts were designed for the 305. I would keep the 47mm duel TB (no changes, this unit will flow plenty of air for you); port the plenum (there are some restriction just inside the TB; Buy & install large tube runners; port the intake base and port match. The only out put of cash would be the large tube runners. Then adjust the Base Timing for best performance, maybe +8* or 10* with the EST wire disconnected. Run good gas, but not nessearrily (I cant spell tonite) 93. The engine should run good on 87, but older engines like to bump up to 89.

ok great, thanks... I was thinking large tube runners would be the better for my application... also u dont feel 93 would be best? not enough compression or wut?

When you get up to 10.5:1 compression ratio, thats when you got to have 93 octane. I would recommend tuning for 89 octane, then you can also go higher if necessary.
