Ive just orderd up a holley single plane manifold that has the injector bungs already installed- Commander manifold I believe is what its called. Im going to be converting from TBI with an rpm-airgap to that manifold and multiport with an ebl flash to run it. Using the tbi for a throttle body for now. Im wondering if i will see any torque or Hp difference between the 2 setups?? After i get the tune nailed down again I will also be slapping on a pair of Edelbrock rpm heads with 64cc chambers for some more compression and hopefully HP/TQ. Im always wondering if im going to lose a fair amount of bottom end torque going to a dry manifold that is a single plane?? Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated thanks!!

Re: Holley single plane??
I ran a Weiand XCellerator low profile single plane for two seasons with 2.00 TB's and XRam. 212/216 @ .05 cam 113LSA. I noticed no loss of TQ. But it is a manual trans. I believe that may have crutched it a bit. I would not hesitate doing what you are doing.

What made you decide to go that over the more traditional choice of a Victor EFI manifold? I may do the same next year.

Re: Holley single plane??
I have reason to beveive that the Victor efi manfiold is more money? I can get the holley and the fuel rails/crossover tubes for the same price. And I have not seen the victor pre drilled and set up for efi from the factory?? Can you send me a link etc?? Thanks

Re: Holley single plane??
This seems to me that this is getting more popular. I just bought the edelbrock 3501 conversion (I got a smoking deal on a brand new set up for 1/3 of retail price). I am going to run it with the ebl with port mod. I may have both set ups dynoed. Here is a link that got me thinking. http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forums/...=333060&page=2 Thats is one fast fullsize truck.
