HSR to Single plane questions

Ok....first of all thinking about going from a HSR to a Victor Jr. Single plane or something equal to it with a 4 barrel throttle body 1000 cfm. Now I see a lot of people routing their lines in parallel (2 feed lines) instead of a circuit (1 entrance feed). What are the benefits of this?

I have a 383, 10.89:1 compression, AFR 195cc heads with a mild cam that I'll be upgrading as well....is there anything that is different when thing about camshafts for these two setups....in other words, does one perfer more duration split than the other or does one like less than the other...just trying to get a feel for what cam I'll get next. Currently I have a 224/230 XFI grind that is making my DCR about 8.7:1. Looking at going to a GM 847, 280 XFI, etc to lower the DCR a bit.

I'm running 32 lb/hr injectors.....should I upgrade to 38s or 42s that way I have room to grow for a later date?

Nothing really except when you start making big power. I was planning on doing parrallel lines for my turbo motor but there are many many many guys making 1000whp with series rails so i'm not worried. Its easier to plumb series anyway so I'd stick with that.

Cam shaft design shouldnt really change. I'd keep it a few degree split like 4 degrees and go from there. Anything in the 230 degree range on the intake would be a great cam for a motor like that.

32 lbs at stock fuel pressure is fine for probly 400whp. I ran 42's to be safe and got a good deal on them but I think they are overkill. If you need more fuel, bump the pressure up to like LSx range of 55-58 psi and should make those 32's act like 37's which will feed that motor with any of those cams you have listed.

Sounds good...I might throw in the cam that I already have....234/242 with .54x lift on 1.5 rockers on a 111 lsa. I'll probably put 1.6 rockers with that

I'm running the 32s right now at 43 psi. Thinking about going to 38s just to be safe because I'm running 1 5/8" headers but I'm going to build me a set of 1 3/4" or run a turbo with about 5 psi for kicks until I can lower the compression some. Trailblazer SS runs 11:1 and running about 6-7 psi.
