Injectors....needing to upgrade
Ok, long story short, I need to upgrade fuel injectors. I'm running 38s with my 383 and the injectors are going static causing a lean condition to start at 4500 rpms. So, I know I could get by with 42s but if I'm upgrading, I think I should probably go with a 48 lb injector just in case a small nitrous shot happens to make its way on the engine. I'm running a 255 Walbro pump at 43.5 psi through -6AN stainless braided line. The engine fuel rails are running in parallel and not in series.
What's everyone's opinion? Go with the 48s for room to grow or 42s will be enough even with a small shot of nitrous (50-100)?

Re: Injectors....needing to upgrade
Thanks. Will do.
Just updating, I checked to see if more psi would help to determine whether it is a injector issue. I went up to 48psi and everything worked better which makes the injectors roughly 40 lb/hr. Obviously the tune is off a bit everywhere but it didn't lean spike as high at 5k so looks like I'm going to bypass the 42 lbs and upgrade to the 48s.

I've bought a number of sets from southbay for myself and other folks cars. Always great service.
