Why?

this is driving me crazy... anyone know why the dip in the fuel rails:
http://www.racingheadservice.com/rhs...uel-railshtml/

I understand the injectors are laid back some, but it doesn't look like that puts the rails in contact with the plenum or anything, they don't look like they're going to come close enough to get in the way of linkage...

Re: Why?

Maybe it has something to do with keeping the line as cool as possible by putting it nearer the gap as opposed to the top of the manifold.

Re: Why?

Either clearance for a TB / manifold combination we're not seeing.

Or allowance for expansion that a straight pipe wouldn't have. Granted a straight rail probably wouldn't have a problem with that.

Or simplicity of R&R.

There's always the possibility of inducing your questions as well.

Re: Why?

Throttle arm hits on a 4bbl throttle body with a straight rail. Ran into this a number of times over the years.

wonderful.

I just ordered Edelbrock straight rails from Jegs yesterday for my Motown single plane with Edelbrock universal 1000 4B TB.
