Yes (but I don't know any real details). There's one by where I live (think it's an 83) for $7k (I'd say almost worth it too due to the nice shape it's in). It has a removable (assume fiberglass from the brief descript on the window.. wasn't on the day I saw it) top.

That person obviously has a hard time figuring out that cloth top does not equal hard top.

If you want a hard-top vert, go look at the Mercedes Benz SLK230

Do I sense some sarcasm!! You're obviously new to the boards. I'll leave it at that.

No that was not sarcasm. that was me agreeing with you. Please note that my number is exactly one less than yours. Sometimes humor does not translate well over the boards or maybe I'm just not that damn funny. Also, I have been on the boards since 98 had to change my e-mail about a year ago, and couldn't remember my original password.

I'd never seen it before, and aparently others hadn't either. So I didn't even know I was bringing up somthing that had been discussed a bagilion times, sorry for posting somthing I found interesting and argrivating you.

Yeah, that tops looks way to flimsy and hack job to be somthing that ever came stock. Thats why I was wondering about it.

Well, interesting car in any event

Its an aftermarket conversion done, but I forget the company. Was popular on early-mid thirdgens. They are out there, theyre on ebay quite often. I do like how they look with the top down, looks pretty bad azz!

chill out, no one ran over your dog! I was stating a fact (exagerated about 102346450 times too many ).

sorry for posting somthing I found interesting and argrivating you.
Thats alright. Just don't do it again .

Note that this post as well as the last one had what I like to call.......humor!! Sometimes, like redarrow said, it doesn't show over the boards. I'll try to be more blunt about it next time.:lala:
